Chief Executive Officer - Maqhawe K. Mnisi
Mr. Maqhawe K. Mnisi was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) of Eswatini effective 1st October 2023. Previous positions held include Manager-Research, Training and Business Development at CIC and Senior Economist at the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development in Eswatini. He is a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MSc Degree in International Business and Economics obtained from Oklahoma State University in USA, BA Degree in Economics and Statistics and Management Development Programme. He also has experience as a Board Member in public sector organisations.
Corporate Services Manager - Siceliwe Mngometulu
Siceliwe Mngometulu is the Corporate Services Manager for the Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences (UNESWA), a Masters Degree in Public & Development Management (University of the Witwatersrand) and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration (University of Namibia). She currently serves as Board Chairperson at World Vision and Deputy Chairperson at (IRDM) University.
Finance Manager - Makhosazane Ndwandwa
Makhosazane Ndwandwa is the Finance Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)- University of Eswatini and an NQF Level 9 in Advanced Monitoring and Evaluation, Linking Planning, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation- (University of Stellenbosch, South Africa). She has undergone the Management Development Programme-Africa -University of Stellenbosch Business School.
Operations, Procurement and Compliance Manager - Phumlani Kunene
Phumlani Kunene is the Operations, Procurement, and Compliance Manager for the Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering - (UNESWA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying - (WITS).
Research and Business Development Manager - Catherine Chikosenu-Motsa
Ms Catherine Chikosenu-Motsa is a the Research and Business Development Manager for the Construction Industry Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences majoring in Economics and Statistics and also a Master of Business Administration which she both attained from the University of Eswatini. Catherine is ISO certified in Quality Management Systems and also possess various certificates ranging from Business Networking; Modelling and Forecasting; Market Research, Consumer Insights and Competitor Analysis; International Economic Affairs; and Trade and Gender Linkages in COMESA. She is responsible for providing insights through relevant research, studies and information in any industry and redirecting such findings into data driven decision-making for policy direction which she acquired while with the Central Bank of Eswatini and Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority.
Council’s Secretary & Legal Advisor - Mcolisi Mbuli
Mcolisi Mbuli is the Council’s Secretary & Legal Advisor for CIC. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). He is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of Swaziland, a Marriage Officer, and a Certified Mediator. Mr. Mbuli is currently pursuing an LLM in Corporate Law, Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation, and a Chartered Secretariat course.
